Deadbeat Poems

Often this poet, floating past the crinkled pastel distortions of a Tucson afternoon, has paused at a stoplight to look at his phone and jot down some couplet, or distracted all the more he may have withdrawn to a soehow damp hovel or fourth place where he mostly makes music, actually. He Often forgets the Thai place is closed on Mondays.
